César Samaniego nació en Barcelona, en un mes de febrero de 1975. Hijo del ilustrador y dibujante de cómic Vilanova, pronto demostró su afición por el dibujo intentando pintar las ilustraciones de su padre. Pasaron los años y decidió estudiar ilustración en la escuela de artes y oficios Llotja de Barcelona siendo éste el resultado…

Cesar Samaniego was born in Barcelona, Spain, back in February 1975. Son of the illustrator and cartoonist Vilanova, soon he showed his parents his talent and willing by trying to paint his father’s illustrations. Years went by and he decided to learn illustration techniques at the “Llotja” school of arts in Barcelona.
